After a highly acclaimed and sold-out tour for six months in the Netherlands, „Daddy Cool“ - in a stage production specially designed for Mallorca - is coming to the renowned Trui Theatre in Palma  from June 29th until September 23rd, 2012.

25 smash hits known by everyone are waiting for the audience: Songs from Boney M., such as „Ma Baker“, „Sunny“, „Daddy Cool“, „Rasputin“ or „Brown Girl In The Ring“ will be performed as well as „I’m Gonna Miss You“ and“ Girl, You Know It’s True“ from Milli Vanilli, „Sweet Dreams“ from La Bouche, „I Can’t Stand The Rain“ from Eruption or „When I Die“ from No Mercy and many more.

„Daddy Cool“ guarantees two hours of top-class entertainment and enthralling party feeling. A show with superlative dance scenes and a matchless „Best Of“-Medley of all the hits which will knock you of your feet.
The world premiere of „Daddy Cool“ took place on September 21st, 2006 at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London. Sunny Music Entertainment in cooperation with Frank Farian, Albert Verlinde Entertainment and Robert Mackintosh is producing the musical exclusively for mallorca.

The Story

„Daddy Cool“ is about Sunny, who comes to London from Jamaica as a young boy wanting to start a career as singer and dancer. He gets involved in a quarrel between two dance choruses and meets the love of his life. The old conflict between his mother Pearl and Ma Baker, the mother of his girl friend Rose, threatens to end their love affair. But neither evil intrigues nor ancient disputes can prevent there being a „Happy End“.
The hits from Frank Farian are perfectly staged with modern sounds and „state of the art“ technical effects.
